Cares R Us Family Day Care Scheme provides flexible family day care by experienced and insured educators to children aged 0-12.

Flexible care options include:

Family day care is a well established mode of child care which is governed by a set of National Regulations.


Cares R Us Family Day Care provides “approved care” which can entitle users to child care benefit (CCB) as well as the 50% child care rebate. Cares R Us Family Day Care manage and process all Child Care Benefit claims on behalf of the parent via the Governments Child Care Management System.

All Cares R Us Family Day Care educators go through a rigorous selection process and safety assessment of their home.

We ensure that all Cares R Us Family Day Care educators:

  • Are warm, caring, energetic and flexible

  • Have an appropriate understanding of children's needs and abilities

  • Have passed a working with children check and police check

  • Possess a current first aid certificate

  • Possess current public liability insurance



Cares R Us Family Day Care operates as a co-ordination unit, staffed by experienced childhood professionals to support the provision of quality care through:

  • Regular home visits, phone calls and support

  • Providing access to training and professional development

  • Providing administration assistance and support to educators and parents

  • Ensuring child care standards are maintained and improved
